Uniform Patrol Division

The Uniform Patrol Division is currently under the command of Deputy Chief Richard Malone. There are four patrol squads (two day shift/two night shift) each supervised by a Lieutenant and a Sergeant. The patrol division also includes Field Training Officers, and Traffic Units, which handle traffic accident investigations, speed enforcement, and other moving traffic violations.

The patrol division's emphasis is on the enforcement of laws and ordinances regarding the protection of personal and business property as well as the safe transit within the city.
