Office of Training and Professional Standards
The Office of Training and Professional Standards is directly under the supervision of the Chief of Police and staffed by Lt. Phil Taylor and Officer David McNeely. This office is responsible for :
-Mangement of the State Certification Program
-Maintenance of Departmental Policy and Procedures
-Internal affairs investigations
-Risk management
-The Department recruitment and hiring process for new officers
-The Student Intern Program
-Supervision of the Field Training Program for patrol officers
-Departmental training
